If your structure is very unstable, it is possible for one to become co-dependent in search of the stability and security that is lacking. 

Your structure, boundaries, and shields serve to protect you from alien energies. If you are someone who takes offense easily, it is likely that your vigilance serves to safeguard you when your boundaries and shields are insufficient. If you are excessively sensitive, it is highly likely that your boundaries and shields are inadequate and render you susceptible to absorbing negative energies, especially when someone is specifically directing ill will towards you.
